True Story: The idea for FanLoop formed on a Thursday night, week 1 of the 2006 season while watching the game with fellow Steelers fan club members and my date, a Colts fan who joined me since her team didn't open the season until Sunday.  After the game, she commented on the large gathering of fans in one location for an out of town team, and wondered if there was a similar group for the Colts.  I hopped on the internet the next day and couldn't find anything quickly, but felt that there had to be something and other fans were probably asking similar questions. So the idea for FanLoop was born to allow fans to connect regardless of who your team is or where your team is located.
